Has anybody enrolled with them and purchased the "Triple Your Cash" certificates from Venture Services? I am concerned about the restrictions that may be on the cards when they send them to you. It is not clearly spelled out on the website or in the literature they send to you.

I looked into this company, and the more I read about them the more I believe it's just a pyramid scheme. They seem to be brand new, so there's not a whole lot of information. They have an F rating and an unanswered complaint with the BBB in Charlotte, NC. You can view that report here: http://www.bbb.org/charlotte/business-reviews/buying-clubs-and-group-purchasing-service/savings-society-inc-in-davidson-nc-236138

Based on the website blogs posted by the company I read, they offer "half price gas" and extreme discounts on other goods and services like prescription drugs and vacation packages. The part that raised the red flag for me, though, was this:

"Now lets talk about how the real money is made, the Savings Society forced 3 x 10 matrix. For every person in your downline, you will make between $1 and $3 depending on what level you join at. That could very quickly add up into the thousands of dollars every month as you build your team."

Here is the rest of the article: http://www.articlesnatch.com/Article/The-Savings-Society-Home-Based-Business-Opportunity/1079912

I'd recommend staying away from this. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. If you could really get half price gas and triple your dollars, everyone would be doing it already.

I joined Savings Society in May and found that the benefits they give you do work. I ordered my Triple cash and got my package in 4 weeks, with a $100 grocery (because I preferred that than the Gas card) and also received vacations packages from the Marriot, Wynham etc.... Yes they are advertising materials but you do get vacations as extra perks. This was through their affiliate Ventures Capital. The problem they are having now is that the Redemption Company started getting too many requests and are having a hard time fulfilling them..... that is a problem Saving's Society is trying to resolve. Other benefits such as the Restaurant certificates do work. I get my $25 restaurant certificates every month. The restrictions are minimal and just fair to the Restaurant that you go to. You may have to spend $35 or $45 at that restaurant subtract the $25 and pay the difference. So for a family of 3-4, I may have to give them $10 or $20 for a great meal! As far as I am concerned, I am very happy with this and the resturants are high class. The company is also on prelaunch and will not be fully operational until October 10. So those who joined previous to that may feel the pain of the changes and additions and deletions etc.... as they are ironing out their issues with their vendors. As part of their benefits, there is a search engine and I use that all the time, to purchase other dining places, where I can get 10% to 50% deals on local places and national companies. They also have sseveral grocery coupon companies they are affiliated with and many other deals .... I have actually saved quite a bit of money every week and every month, even without the downline matrix etc. One thing people do is to expect to be spoonfed and babysat, and led by the hand on how to do things. I never had anyone show me the ropes on how to work the site.... I just did it myself.... I peruse the website, utilize the benefits such as the RX prescription savings, the Imaging (MRI,Xrays's etc) benefits that is giving to them for free. They can truly save and get large discounts. The vacation packages I have not done this yet but I have booked a cruise through their site, got a 4% discount and it is a legitimate cruise with Carnival. To me, it is like a ONE (1) stop place to find the savings instead of searching and googling trying to find these discounts. I have found that some of the discounts I got like my 2 for 1 dining, are not offered anywhere else. Also, I have used the hotels and received anywhere from 10% to 50% discounts. I have been booking myself for hotel stays for the last several months and have been saving. So, I feel that Savings Society is not perfect yet but they are trying hard to resolve issues and they are adding more benefits every month... it is really up to the individual to learn how to use the sites and not be spoonfed! I will keep you updated on negative and positive things that happens, so you can make your decisions and not just hear one
