Cryptic Studios hypes its products to excess and releases them incomplete and vastly different from that which was advertised. The game Star Trek Online had many promised features not included in the final product. They charge you upfront for services they have not yet rendered and then refuse refunds even if they are asked for before the service begins. Additionally, their management and billing departments are deceptive, and actively mislead their subscribers. I was told I would receive a refund on a purchase by 3 different customer service agents, and then was ignored for a week and my refund was denied without notification. I would suggest you avoid investing in or purchasing products from Cryptic Studios.
