Difficult to deal with!
|
We purchased a used elevator from Home Elevators of Houston. Unfortunately it was a difficult install with all sorts of issues. It took over a month for them to finally get the elevator working properly. I understood the issues and never complained as they really did work hard to get the elevator up and running. The crew was exceptional! Within 3 months of it working the inside panels buckled creating the possibility of injury to someone riding on the elevator. I contacted the owner of the company in April trying to get it fixed. Let's just say the panels (all of them not just the bent one) was finally replaced in December, where I was charged over $1000 to repair... I was told by the owner I would have a 1 year warranty on the elevator so this really should have been covered. Within 4 months the exact same thing happened again so they bent the panel back into place. While the technician was here I told him I felt part of the problem was the elevator was hitting the ground rather hard when getting to the bottom floor. While he was there he agreed and fixed the issue. The owner charged me another $400 to have this repaired. Once again I had paid them in February to fix an issue of the elevator coming down too slow so I was having the same issue fixed again. Basically there has been no promised warranty and the owner is extremely rude.
