First, even if they offer free hosting, please don't go for it. My humple advise.
Issues:
1. Since 13-Mar-2001 (today 21-Mar), the server failed 8 times. First failure took 9 hours to restore, after this there are several failures. I have submitted ticket for all outage. While I am writing this update, my site and email is down for 15 hours and not restored yet. Since there is no phone support, I end up chat with support. No luck as they always say technicians are working. Same message all the time. I agree outage once in a while, but if a hosting company has 8 failures in a week and they claim 99% uptime. This is marketing gimmick and has to be regulated.
2. Since I have these issues, I tried to switch the my hosting. Here come next road block. They hesitate to provide the EPP key and always say, send email to your email, check spam etc...I change my primary email couple of times and no emails. EPP system not sending email and still they have no idea how to help customer. The EPP is customer controlled data and don't why mochahost controlled this. I have site hosted in other hosting companies and customer always has option to control. This has to stop and provide customer to create their EPP key.
Resolution Sought:
1. Provide phone support (The call back phone never works, try it out and prove yourself).
2. Hire knowledgeable chat support resources. Most of the chat resources has very basic knowledge and end up creating tickets.
3. Clearly differentiate priority in support tickets. I have scenarios where my server down several hours and create urgent ticket. I got the reply two days later saying, your site is working fine . Why you raise the ticket !!!
4. Be polite with customers. Customer first.
