Response from Phonezoo - this user had a bad experience with one of the advertisers on Phonezoo.com, not with Phonezoo. While we regret the inconvenience to the user, Phonezoo is in no way responsible for this matter.
It would be like holding NBC or CBS liable for a bad experience with a product that was advertised on their channel. Several hundred advertisers use Phonezoo to sell their product & we are not responsible for their customer service.
Moreover, the user clearly states that they were charged by "Celebrity Squares" with a shortcode of 258258 and a phone number of 800-477-3913 - this service is run by a company Celebrity Squares, Inc. located at 701 North Green Valley Parkway, Suite #200, Henderson NV 89074. Phonezoo has NOTHING to do with the operation or customer service for this company.
We urge the user to be cautious in the future before signing up for internet services & request that they withdraw their complaint against Phonezoo & file it against "Celebrity Squares, Inc."
