I've relied on seagate for years, never will anymore. Their 7200.11 drives have become failures, i may be exaggerating but if you read the forums and sites like newegg, it seems like there are 80-90% failures.
they simply dont care, their tech support takes 40 minutes to answer and claims that the firmware and everything is OK, they also make you pay 20 dollars per drive for advance exchange, something their competitor Western Digital does for free.
I will be considering filing a BBB claim against Seagate in the next few days if they do not help me resolve my issues.
