SMG has got to be the best loan mod company out there. We called about a dozen of these so-called loan mod companies before landing on SMG's website. We were very impressed and decided to contact them. Their counselors were nothing but nice and helpful, but most importantly, they were honest and fair. They didn't promise on anything they couldn't deliver and told me if I wasn't completely satisfied they would give me a full refund (most of the other companies my wife and i called said they held back a $500 processing fee). During the whole process, our guy at SMG continued to give us updates, even if it was to say that they were still waiting on the bank. It was really great to hear from them every week, cause ive heard horror stories about companies disappearing for months. We had a really high interest rate (in the upper 6's) and SMG was able to save us over $500 a month. All in all, the best possible experience we could have had and now my wife, daughters and i can stay in the house we've grown to love!
