My wife and I have been trying for many months to schedule a cruise that we were awarded for listening to an offer from Royal Palm Travel here in the Dallas area. It has become very frustrating trying to secure a reservation with this company.
On Dec. 14, 2008 we were given a certificate and told to mail it to them and that they would make a reservation for us for a free cruise out of Galveston, TX.
We mailed the certificate to them and they sent us another form to fill out to tell them which trip we wanted to take. This form indicated that we would need to include payment of $50.00 per traveler for the cruise. On April 25, 2009 we returned that form along with check number 1906 in the amount of $100.00 in order to take our “free” cruise.
We never heard from them, so we contacted their office in May and were told that we needed to send them the form on the bottom of the brochure that we received at the presentation; we filled it out and returned it to their office.
In June they returned the bottom of the brochure with a note stating that we needed to include payment of $100.00. We then attached a copy of the check, front and back that was endorsed by their company and cleared their bank on April 30, 2009. In July they returned the whole thing including the copy of the check with a note saying “This offer requires that you submit a US$50.00 per person registration fee in order to be processed”.
I am very frustrated with the difficulty we are encountering trying to make this reservation.
I just wish they would take this opportunity to correct this situation, open lines of communication and make us believe that Worldwide Travel Center is in fact a legitimate Company offering real trips, with happy customers.
