Walgreens is a well-known company with a good reputation, consistent service across the country, and a pharmacy that has set the standard for the industry.
Buyers to this particular location, however, should be aware of a parking practice that makes shopping here particularly undesirable. The lot is monitored by an outside agency, "Sanchez Booting Service," which booted my vehicle while I was a customer in the store. When I approached the store manager with my receipt, he exchanged a quiet conversation with the "boot agent," and then told me he could not do anything about it because the boot had already been placed. He did express an apology, noting, "this happens every so often." It took an additional $40 to remove the boot from my car that was parked in customer parking -- even after I was clearly a customer! I was really disappointed with this unethical practice and the manager's unwillingness to resolve it
Needless to say, I won't be shopping at this Walgreens location again! For Albuquerque shoppers, I highly recommend the location on Lomas and Carlisle, about 1 mile from this location on Central -- same inventory, but at least your car won't be booted!
